"The Show" is a BUas live television show all about the passion to perform. This episode explores the passion behind Irish dancers, figure skaters, and the Dutch band Point of Madness.
The final school project for Creative Business year 2 was to create a live television show. Our producer came with a concept, which was the passion to perform. I was highly interested in working on this show concept, since I love live performances. With our team of 20 students we worked on this project for over 3 months. This meant writing, budgeting, looking for talents, preparing, hosting, and filming the whole show in front a live audience.
My roles were segment producer for the live band performance and audio technician during the live show.
With this project I was able to use my previous knowledge of radio hosting, while also gaining experience of how audio works in larger setups, with different types of microphones. It was a great team to work with because we all adapted easily and learned from each others skills and communication.
